Klickfisch: Underwater Photos lets you disappear into the ocean with a camera. The indie photography game is all about exploring a colourful underwater world, finding all sorts of sea creatures and trying to get the best possible pictures of them.
There are seven different worlds in Klickfisch: Underwater Photos. You’ve got the bright and vibrant Coral Reef, the murky Amazon delta, the swaying Kelp Forest, the open ocean, the Glowing Depths, the Arctic pack ice and sunken Atlantis. Each location has its own atmosphere and wildlife.
Living creatures range from clownfish, seahorses, manta rays, whales, seals, lanternfish and plenty of other species. They all have their own artwork and swimming styles. Some are curious enough to approach you, while others are more shy and prefer keeping their distance. Every level also has a rare Phantom hiding somewhere.
Your pictures can earn Bronze, Silver, Gold or Perfect grades, depending on how well you frame the animal. Getting a creature fully in the shot, keeping it centred and making sure nothing blocks your viewfinder will improve your score. Better dives earn stars, and discovering new species adds more variety to your collection.
There’s also My Reef, where all the creatures you’ve photographed get to swim around together. Outside the actual diving, you’ll collect seashells during your adventures, which you can use to expand your own Beach House and build boats at the Shipyard.
Klickfisch: Underwater Photos is now out on Android
Klickfisch: Underwater Photos has leaderboards and a Diver Rank system. These features are available through Google Play Games, and the leaderboards are visible to everyone. The game is completely free to play with ads only appearing when you choose to watch them, and the season pass is completely optional. You can even play the game offline.
