Command a being formed from thousands of leaves in Leafborn

Top marks for some protagonist originality here in Leafborn, with your character made up of a thousands leaves. In development by Turkish indie team Green Cat Games, a demo has just recently been released.

It looks and sounds rather clever and unique. Attack, and your leaves break apart. Then they snap back together, and the character becomes a saw, a tornado or various other forms. The developers emailed GamingOnLinux to note how the game underneath is a fast-paced 3D action roguelite, with its biggest influences being Risk of Rain 2 and Hades.

Every Run, a New Horizon

Choose branching routes between islands and face increasingly aggressive Null formations. Runs begin from zero, while long-term upgrades unlock forms, expand the loot pool and open unexplored paths through The Canopy.

Definitely a demo worth checking out if you're after something a little unusual and cool.
