The Fallout inspired ATOM RPG returns with a Plague Island DLC and major update

Released back in 2018, ATOM RPG: Post-apocalyptic indie game is a classic Fallout-like and the developers just gave it a nice upgrade and DLC.

Writing into GamingOnLinux the developer said: "Atom Team, the creators of the post-apocalyptic role-playing game ATOM RPG, are celebrating the studio's 10th anniversary by releasing a huge update and a new DLC, Plague Island, which takes players to an isolated island in the grip of a mysterious disease outbreak. There's plenty to discover, including new locations, characters and questlines, a sealed Soviet bunker, and more. Players can also get their hands on Power Armor, a long-requested feature for the original game".

Weapons, ammunition, and equipment

• Added new weapon configurations and equipment variants.
• Added improved GP25 configurations.
• Expanded attachment support for crafted weapons and SMGs with drum magazines.
• Improved weapon modification options and attachment compatibility.
• Added clearer indicators for installed modifications.
• Some weapons now use updated ammunition requirements and compatibility rules.
• Improved ammunition and caliber information in item descriptions.
• Improved flamethrower effects and sound design.
• Enhanced weapon firing sounds and animations.
• Crafting now preserves installed attachments when applicable.

Visual and technical improvements

• Improved lighting, ambient occlusion, anti-aliasing, and overall visual quality.
• Improved audio and video loading.
• Improved game stability and performance.
• Added additional safeguards to prevent gameplay and interface issues.

Nice to see the developer go back to this one to improve it. If you like classic RPGs, this is definitely one to grab.
